A review of Pearl Of The Orient by Style1 written on Thursday 23rd of July 2009
This is a fantastic little place that I have continually gone to for over a decade (even after moving up to London, I make sure I pop in when visiting the family). In those 10 years their classic dishes like Kung Po and Sweet & Sour just haven't been beaten by other takeaways (or restaurants). Plus their have other great dishes you won't find elsewhere, a few of my favourites include Beef with Black Pepper and Cream sauce and Aromatic Village King Prawn. I can't recommend this place enough, it does get a bit busy on the weekends, but I can't really blame them for that..
